NOTES: LOTS OF NOTES... **Designates new
information
**No New sight words.
**Dairy Queen trip is
tomorrow at 1:15. All parents are
invited to meet us there (if it isn’t raining).
If you are meeting us there and would like to take your child home from
there, please email me. They will
bring their school bag with them.
**Wednesday is “Beach Day” for K. We will be outside playing from 8:45-10. The kids can bring a towel to sit on if they
wish. They are to wear shorts/pants, shirt and
sneakers. All PreK and K students will be dismissed at 11:45 in car line. Pick up is just like afternoon car line at
the front school entrance. Please stay
in your car and follow the teacher’s directions.
**Thursday is Closing Ceremonies at 11:00. The children are to be dropped off at 10:30
(no earlier) at the school entrance by the classroom. Parents are to park and enter school, for the
ceremony, through the Cavanaugh Hall doors which are across from the tether
balls. This leads into the gym. K2 will be on the left side of the stage.
As much as they didn’t want to hear it, I told the kids I wanted
them to keep up with some work over the summer.
I don’t want them to lose what they have worked so hard to learn this
year.
--Reader Writer Notebook, beginning on pg 400, review and long
vowels
--Letter Copybook, all sight words are in this book, they should
review them and read the sentences
--Journal—the kids should work on writing sentences over the
summer--what they did on vacation, at the pool, whatever.
--First in Math--this will definitely help with math skills. If you don't have your child's log in, please email me.
Thank you for all of your support this year. It definitely takes a village…
